Jay Z is no stranger to the tech industry. After seeing great growth with Tidal he has now heavily invested in JetSmarter. Joining the likes of the Saudi royal family as major investors in the new venture.
JetSmarter raised 105 million in their series C round after a $1.5 Billion pre-money valuation.
The company’s app allows travelers to book a seat on a private jet via the company’s JetShuttle service, or to charter an entire plane if their entourage rolls deep.
Anyone can download and evaluate it’s app, before flying JetSmarter, members go through a light background check then pay $15,000 for a “core membership” in the first year they join.
