G.O.O.D. Music president, Pusha T is building an app that allows fans to vote on Hip Hop music. His album Daytona is regarded as one of the best hip hop projects of the year, and now Pusha is pushing his way into the tech industry with an hip hop app called Heir.
Pusha T teamed up with tech entrepreneur, Summer Watson, formerly of Playdom and TuneIn to launch the new app.
Heir helps the hip hop industry engage with more fans by allowing them to vote hip hop songs up and down in ranking. If your hip hop ear is really good and you know what most people like you will earn the app’s digital currency called “Crown.” If you vote up a track that is not liked by users, you will lose Crown. No details have been given as to what you can use the Crown you have accumulated on but more than likely it will be used for in-app purchases.
